Toys

Rumor has it that someone is working on a protoype for the first Nobody Likes Tony Pony toy.....photos forthcoming?
**Update** Observational humor. I wonder if people get that this strip is "character driven" and somewhat based on specific events/conversations that may or may not have taken place in real life? Inspired by real life. Caricatures of very real and unique personalities that always help me write this strip. Writing is listening and the rhythm of a good comic strip is like the rhythm of a good poem. This is a work in progress. No, I have not seen the movie "Superbad", but ridiculous comments will always be deleted. So try reading your comments "out loud" before posting them on this blog.....if doesn't make any sense - it's gone.

Flashback Friday

This has always been one of my favorite strips because "Steve" is a filmmaker at heart. You can just tell. He always love to watch movies that no one has ever heard of before. "Rob" loves to say things like "Oh, you can't be normal and watch Lethal Weapon like everyone else" "That's not poetic"...."I need weird camera angles and subtitles"....anyway that's where this crazy strip comes into play.

Tyler and I made some cool Fearnot toys....but we used Sculpey and Ellie likes Sculpey so....Tony's face is now gone. I may post some pics of T later. Also, I've written more Fearnots strips that should see the light of day next week and even managed to work a little on Solomon Bounce "in between feedings". Don't forget to run out to your local comic shop on Wed. and pick up DC's "Tiny Titans" by my bruthas Art and Franco. I'm going to buy multiples!! I can't wait! Here's a Yeti...

Another Review

I took my dad to the movies for his birthday. We were going to see 27 Dresses but it was sold out so we went to see Cloverfield instead. Katherine Heigel is cuter than the monster. Here's another review...by the way, we weren't really going to see "27 Dresses" and "More Than Sparrows" is not a true story.

Proud Family

This morning my son received the Forest of Virtue award for "respect". His teacher and fellow classmates nominated him because he always uses "velvet" or "kind" words and is willing to play and be friends with everyone in his class. It was awesome just to watch him take the stage and receive his certificate....but I kinda chuckled to myself :) I never would've rec'd this kind of award when I was in school....heck, I wouldn't receive it now!

Inspiration...
...regular readers may remember a story I shared not to long ago about a Worship service that took place at the Virginia Home. I came across this article today and was reminded of the tremendous hearts of the Va. Home residents.
