Baltimore Paintings

Works In Progress. These paintings are 6 x 6 on Bristol paper, mixed media, ink and watercolors. I'm hoping to have around 25 complete by the end of September. I'll be out of the office until Aug. 8th so please come back Friday for some cool updates:)

End of Chapter One!! What d'ya think?

This story will appear with another short story (that will not be seen on this blog) but will be seen in the P.W. Schooner comic I'm making for this years Baltimore ComiCon!! This is the goofy explaination of how Pee Wee and Mees are now able to travel through space! Wool is a hot commodity on GrumbleBums Island - so Mees added some pretty sweet things to the ole schooner. Tyler and I are going to be working up some "SpyNots" comic strips so look for those along with some watercolors that are being done for Baltimore!! Yeah!!

Some folks believe that FEAR keeps Pee Wee from leaving the island. The fear of drowning. They say that everytime he takes his boat out, it stays anchored in 3 feet of water! Others believe that it's the fear of Todd the Sea Monster that keeps him so close to home. And still more people, the hopeless romantics - well, they believe it's a girl that captured his wandering heart.

If Pee Wee already has a glorious boat then why hasn't he left the island? What's keeping him there?

Mees the Sheep narrowly escaped jail time and immediately slapped a frown upon his face to avoid further run ins with the law. On his way back to town he ran into Pee Wee Schooner and said "Hey! - I know you!" "You have a glorious boat and every night you sneak out to sea" "Do you think maybe I can go with you sometime?" Pee Wee didn't respond.

But some folks believe that Pee Wee has a beautiful boat tucked away in some secret place and that at night he quietly slips out to sea and some folks claim that they can even hear him smile. He floats above majestic waters and just stares into space all night long.

Baltimore Comic-Con....

...Is several weeks away but I've already started painting!! Look for more this week and a Pee Jay Schooner comic strip! Yesh, I'm still trying to decide on his name...
