Watching Nickelodeon is sometimes depressing....I mean what the heck do little girls play with anyway? Bratz?!? Yick....dat's nasty. Don't they have Pound Puppies anymore or ShirtTails?
....I was sitting on this one because I couldn't decide on a punchline. I had a couple of options but I wanted to wait it out. Sometimes I'll do that. I'll have some comics partially drawn/written and I just wait a few days to let the "joke" set in. I also think I am finally settling on a format. I like the looks of the traditional sidescrolling strip even though my favorite is the 4 panels, 2 over 2. Who knows?
shakey drawings from the trip.....and some new spot art for the Blindwolf site...going to the zoo today so hopefully I'll have some cool animal sketches for tonight :)
Here we are.... VERY brave!! When Kristy was 14 she rode this 12 times in one day!! What a beauty.... Author's photo for my next book? ...well the vacation is almost over but it's been fun! Beach, movies, Busch Gardens and such. More paintings to come this week as I continue to prepare for Baltimore and I may be launching a new website soon....
Works In Progress. These paintings are 6 x 6 on Bristol paper, mixed media, ink and watercolors. I'm hoping to have around 25 complete by the end of September. I'll be out of the office until Aug. 8th so please come back Friday for some cool updates:)
Okay, so I was supposed to be posting new Spynots comics and what have I been doing? playing - check out Legos Agents! Pretty cool, huh? I'll probably post one more time before Monday but then we're on vacation....
This story will appear with another short story (that will not be seen on this blog) but will be seen in the P.W. Schooner comic I'm making for this years Baltimore ComiCon!! This is the goofy explaination of how Pee Wee and Mees are now able to travel through space! Wool is a hot commodity on GrumbleBums Island - so Mees added some pretty sweet things to the ole schooner. Tyler and I are going to be working up some "SpyNots" comic strips so look for those along with some watercolors that are being done for Baltimore!! Yeah!!

Some folks believe that FEAR keeps Pee Wee from leaving the island. The fear of drowning. They say that everytime he takes his boat out, it stays anchored in 3 feet of water! Others believe that it's the fear of Todd the Sea Monster that keeps him so close to home. And still more people, the hopeless romantics - well, they believe it's a girl that captured his wandering heart.
