Proud Family

This morning my son received the Forest of Virtue award for "respect". His teacher and fellow classmates nominated him because he always uses "velvet" or "kind" words and is willing to play and be friends with everyone in his class. It was awesome just to watch him take the stage and receive his certificate....but I kinda chuckled to myself :) I never would've rec'd this kind of award when I was in school....heck, I wouldn't receive it now!

Favorite Things

Tumbleweeds ended recently....one of my all time favorite comic strips. I really love TK Ryans art and always thought his comics were so funny, you will be missed, sir. Franco sent me the Essential Godzilla King Of all Monsters book collecting all 24 issues published by Marvel in the 70's. Herb Trimpe rocks! Thanks, Franco! I also brought home the Hong Kong Phooey collection today...all 31 episodes. Tyler watched a few and now the song is stuck in his head (and mine) and everything is getting chopped. When is this baby girl going to arrive???
