I deleted my Twitter account.  It was a ton of fun but a huge time zapper.  I spent countless hours looking at photos of what people were eating and/or wearing....curse you Lady Gaga!!  Now I collect all of those minutes and voila - I have lots more time to do actual work!

I am attempting to put together a Tony Pony collection that would encompass all of my Office Furniture strips (2 years worth) as well as all of the Family/Faith related strips and even some of the experimental strips (TIHWM, etc.) - looking at all of the artwork that spans several years (and a few disks) it is a little overwhelming to say the very least. I also want to include lots of never before published (not even on the web) and a story within a story that ties it all together (similar to Gene Yangs awesome American Born Chinese only mine won't be as awesome :) so here's an example of an old strip remastered. More later......

Right now my plate is pretty full with a Priscilla # 3 and 2 comics (1 biweekly and 1 monthly) but I really want to try and further develop the characters from "This Is How We Met" and the little Triceratops "Abigail".....we'll see....do you like the colors?

Style Weekly Comic Strip Issue

Richmond, Va. paper Style Weekly had their first comic strip issue come out today.....I didn't make the cut, but it was cool to see Keith Van Allen and a couple of other gems in there....here's my entry.

Back from an amazing vacation! We had an absolute blast hanging with Mickey and friends! Tyler and I left drawings for MouseKeeping and the awesome Kayleigh even wrote us back and drew some of her own characters! I really enjoyed watching Ava light up every time she got near a Princess and Tyler rode Splash Mountain 2 times! Fun stuff...more later.....

Heroes Con Report!!!!

Probably my best con ever! Sold a ton of paintings and 6 x 6 crayon drawings. Most popular? Baby Spidey and Red Hulk. I had one pic of Hulk reading a book under a tree and a father said to his son "I didn't know Hulk could read?" and his little boy replied, "It's a picture book"! I got to participate in my first panel with Chris "Very Funny Guy" Giarrusso (G-Man), Mark Waid and Roger Langridge (Boom Studios) and Aw Yeah Franco.....I felt like I was "cheating" and really shouldn't be up there with those Giants! I met Lan Pitts (Newsarama), Mike Mignola, Steve Epting, Ross Richie (Boom Studios) and Don Rosa! Don's friend gave me a copy of "Super Goof" # 1!!! Number one!!! from 1965 in beautiful condition and he told me he hopes I get to write/draw it someday! That would be awesome! There is lots more to report but I'm still very tired as I slept about 3 hours each night since last Thursday. This is a pic of sleepy me and Aw Yeah Franco before heading home....I'll also try and post more pics later....
