Baltimore Comicon Sept. 8th and 9th

It looks like I'll be heading to Baltimore for the Comicon (Lord Willing) on the 8th and 9th of September. And if I can get my butt in gear this week, I'll have a 24 page "Fearnots" comic to sell!! It will be in stunning black and white so you can grab a box of crayons and color it yourself....and also a stunning color cover....I'm only printing 50 copies so come by the Blindwolf booth and say "hey"!!

You should definitely pop by the Gemstone booth and say hi to Travis Seitler!

Oh cool! Definitely! I didn't know he was going to be there...should be fun. It's my first show since Philly 2006....tell him that I'll be looking for him!!

Yeah man... shoot, I *live* just a few miles north. Have you already found a place to stay, or do you wanna crash at my place?

Aw Dude! You're too kind....but yeah, we kinda planned this a couple of months ago with Blindwolf. It's actually going to be a family event since I heard this is a kid friendly show? - so we're bringing the kiddies...... maybe we could do dinner one night?

Definitely. =D

As for the kid-friendliness, I would agree in that the publisher:dealer ratio is much smaller, so there's lots of back-issue bins and not so many "Inky Lust Publishing" types. (Diamond Comic Distributors' Retailer Summit usually follows immediately on this con's heels, so the shop owners are there en masse.)

It's a comic book convention, though, so good luck avoiding the cosplay. ;) 'course, it's still tamer than San Diego!

Heard nothing by good things about Heroes Con regarding its family-friendliness. One of these days, I think...

It is a great show! I went a few years ago and sold a bunch of squishy cartoon drawings. This was right at the beginning of Patrick coming out so it must of been around 2000? Yeesh! Time flies...
