It's such a shame that Disney Adventures has been canceled, because they had a far easier time getting stuff like this in print!Your style's just different enough that it'd probably be a hard sell with Gemstone's existing fanbase--at least, as far as TPTB see it.If Gemstone ever decided to split the classic and new stories in their books, though... =D
That's why we should start out online :) Give it some time to build....tee-hee...
But... where's Darkwing Duck? :(
Oh now I can break out some Darkwing if'n you wants me too! :) That may be on tap for disa evening....
Maybe we could tag team Gemstone. I've been beating the Darkwing Duck drum for two years now. Even had my "Ultimate" DD universe planned out in my head...
I have the first season of Darkwing Duck on DVD. It's great...and that would be a fun comic to work on! Maybe we could just drum up some 1-2 page gags and send 'em to Travis every week until he cracks? :) Just messin' with ya, Travis... :)
Poor Seitler-san is at the mercy of The Mighty TPTB (or rather, the powers that be.)Though, I think if he were given the keys to the candy store we'd see all kinds of really cool things. ;)
Kneon, you're too kind... I think. ;)Darkwing is a different license, and that means more moolah (both to get the license and to pay the lawyers). Unless/until we can show it'd sell like hotcakes (and I think it would, but I can't *show* it yet)--no deal. :pout:But keep 'em comin', Jamie!
Gemstone needs to pick up the mess left by DA's unexpected departure.I mean... they were selling a million copies a month, right?! That's smalltime for MouseCo, but any comic publisher would kill for those numbers!
Love the drawing!! I too would love to do a Super Goof Story. I have written 3 so far. Maybe one day.
